Non trotter sur 2700 n'est pas plus difficile que les courtes distances, c'est un sport différent, tu ne respire pas de la même façon et la lactatemie n'a pas la même courbe. Être polyvalent façon Étonnant c'est rare (bien que chez lui la cohérence au fond c'est la dureté au mal).
Même 2100 et le mile c'est pas la même mayonnaise.
Le TF est a priori plus taille et sélectionné sur son "demi-fond" à lui, d'où les classiques 2700 ou distances proches, avec départ volté à la francaise.

Foncièrement il y aurait presque plus de proximité entre courtes distances et un Prix de Paris, pour la résistance générale aux lactates (je prends soin de la nuance).
Étonnant se plaît sur les deux, Earl Simon aussi et le palmarès du Prix de Paris recèle des TE (donc SB).

Mais vous corrigerez ce qui vous paraît stupide ou surprenant.

Les proprios ne veulent pas attendre les chevaux car cela coûte. Les entraîneurs n’ont plus suffisamment de personnel pour attendre et façonner sans oublier la mode commerciale orienté sur cette précocité faisant qu’aujourd’hui le sang étranger est de plus en plus dominant en ancêtres communs avec un % de sang étranger désormais à 25% de moyenne soit + 8% en 5 ans (de mémoire).

La race a donc était modifiée et dans le même temps, alors qu’ils se plaignent d’une consanguinité galopante et d’un raccourcissement de carrière, la SECF réduit le nombre de poulinières, baisse tjrs plus les temps de qualification, développe le programme pour jeunes, autorise le plaquage à 2ans ainsi que le déferrage à 4ans.

Notre race est fragilisée mais grâce au volume de trotteurs en courses, nous triomphons !
Je dis et pense cela sans esprit de domination virile et masculine chères camarades féminines 😚😚😚 !
